Polish mead is a honey-base fermented drink. It is known as the first alcoholic drink consumed by Humans. Mead production is a real tradition in Poland and can be warmed-up with some spices to be enjoyed in winter.
Kurpiowski honey is a dwojniak type, which means that the producer uses one measure of water for one measure of honey for the fermentation process. This type of mead is aged 10 months and is generally around 10% ABV. The added water is softening the mead making a sweeter mead than trojniak types.
